Council of Catholic Women
We invite all women of the parish age 18 and over to join us at our meetings and events. Currently we meet approximately 5 or 6 times per year to discuss business, activities, and parish needs. Meetings are held on a Wednesday in the late afternoon/early evenings.
Our activities include organizing a parish Pro-Life fundraiser, organizing a parish-wide holiday gift card collection for families served by the local food pantry, and providing breakfasts for the That Man is You (TMIY) group on Saturday mornings. We are able to offer two scholarships to St. Mary School families each year.
We take our turn hosting a Coffee Connection after Sunday Masses. The CCW participates in the summer Taste of St. Mary’s parish festival by hosting a popular lemon shake up booth. We host Senior Socials every few months for those in the parish age 55 and over featuring games, fellowship and refreshments.
